Prof. Keichii Fujiwara

Prof. Keichii Fujiwara

Prof. Fujiwara graduated from Okayama University Medical School in 1979. He later joined Wake Forest University as a Research Fellow in 1988 and became a professor at Saitama Medical University in 2006.

Throughout his career, Prof. Fujiwara has held numerous leadership positions both in Japan and internationally. He served as Vice President of the Japanese Gynecologic Oncology Group (2012–2014), Chair of the Gynecologic Cancer InterGroup (2018–2020), and President of the International Gynecological Cancer Society (IGCS) from 2022. Additionally, he was a founding member and Chair of the Gynecologic Oncology Clinical Trial and Investigation Consortium (GOTIC) from 2023 and Chair of the Asia-Pacific Gynecologic Oncology Trials Group (APGOT) from 2024.

Prof. Fujiwara has also contributed significantly to academic publishing, serving as an editorial board member for multiple journals, including the International Journal of Gynecological Cancer, International Journal of Clinical Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Journal of Clinical Oncology. He has led numerous clinical trials across various phases and has authored 250 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
