Prof. Cheung is an associate professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy at the University of Hong Kong and serves as the President of the Osteoporosis Society of Hong Kong. He is also an adjunct scientist at Hebrew SeniorLife, USA, and an elected committee member and fellow of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research. Prof. Cheung obtained his PhD from HKU and completed his post-doctoral training at Harvard Medical School. His research focuses on the epidemiology and genetics of osteoporosis, fractures, and related comorbidities. He has published over 160 peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals, including Lancet, JAMA, Cell, and Nature Genetics.
