Prof. Isabelle Ray-Coquard

Isabelle Ray-Coquard, MD, PhD, HDR is Professor of Medical Oncology at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and medical oncologist at the Centre Léon Bérard, Lyon. She is President of ENGOT and past president of GINECO, reflecting her leadership in European and French gynecologic oncology research networks. She also serves as Chair of The Lancet Ovarian Cancer Commission, further underscoring her international engagement in ovarian cancer research. Professor Ray-Coquard leads the French national reference network for rare gynecological cancers and coordinates FEMNET, dedicated to women’s cancers with poor prognosis. She has initiated and led numerous multicenter clinical and translational studies, including PAOLA-1 and ALIENOR, contributing to practice-changing advances in ovarian cancer. Author of over 650 peer-reviewed publications, her work has been instrumental in integrating PARP inhibitors and immunotherapy into clinical practice.
